Commercial Space!

It's incredible that in such a vast city that commercial kitchen space be so elusive.
That is, until we found Katherine Gregory and her ingenious concept "Mi Kitchen Es Su Kitchen."  As you may or may not know, all sellable food must be created in a commercial kitchen, however, the cost is typically quiet prohibitive for young startups, such as BQB.  And this is where Katherine's entrepreneurial genius comes in ...Voila!  Her concept of a time-share kitchen helps both the start-up business and the under-used kitchen owner.

Thankfully, Bobby was able to take a tour today at this food and business incubator in LIC.
The facilities were incredible and he was greeted by such wonderful people.
We look forward to churning in such a unique, collaborative space!!

SAMPLES ARE OUT!

BQB spent the whole day all over town handing out samples to the lucky establishments hand picked by us. Each flavor was received with such praise by the time we made it back to the BQB headquarters our email was packed! This test seemed to prove what we predicted all along,  that everyone needs a little BQB!

Keep an eye out for our butter SOON at

Special Thank You

So BQB just wanted to send out a special thank you to everyone who has given us a hand putting everything together. We definitely would not have been able to do it without you guys and truly appreciate it!
A special thanks to the illustrator Alexander Khan Hemming whose detailed first ladies have taken this butter to a new level of prestige and will definitely help cement it within the community. He has helped us all along the way and gone above and beyond with every detail of the task put infront of him.
Also the Graphic Designer Lauren Hickey for her countless hours of advice, beautiful handwriting, and all together packaging help. A special word is also due to Amanda Goldman and Jesse Suchmann for their website help. Thanks Guys.

Our Business Cards Arrived Today!

Woohoo! We just received our business cards in the mail today.  Take a peek!  They are made out of slices of wood!  How cool.

Another Fantastic Day of Churning

Even though the weather outside was frightful, the Butter Queens had an incredible (and productive!) day of churning!

Even though it was chilly and hailing outside, we began working on a new butter for the holidays!!  **Hint Hint**
It's an Obama Butter!

Tasting & Packaging Party!

Boy oh boy, what a day it was over here at BQB headquarters.
We got off to a slow start but soon hit a groove and were churning out the butter packaging lickety split.
Everyone soon found their niche and before we knew it we had a yoga teacher cutting balsa wood, and nurses with their own wood sanding station.

Everyone really came together today to help us out and had a blast doing it! The Butter Queen even surprised us with letting everyone test the secret new winter flavors and they were received with rave reviews!
With everyone working together we were able to finish the quota and relax with afternoon cocktails. Thanks everyone for coming by the BQB headquarters and helping us out. It was a blast!

Hudson Valley Fresh Cream Pickup Day!

Wow what a day! We made it upstate and to Hudson Valley Fresh's
Bottling facilities to pick up these giant (and mighty heavy) bags of cream!

We will soon have one of these on our roof!
Thats right the entire inside of the building that wasn't wood paneling
was painted like a cow! Love it.
I do love wood paneling, look at this office straight out of the 70's.

Here is Rich, he was so helpful not only with loading and unloading
but showing us around and telling us how it is done! He kept his earplugs in the whole time so it looked like he was yelling the whole time! It was great!

Thanks Rich and Lisa!
